Objective

Borrow two toys, return whichever has the longer name. The compiler needs to know they all live the same lifetime.

'a ~ a lifetime parameter (pronounced tick a)
&'a Toy ~ a borrowed Toy that lives at least as long as 'a
fn name<'a>(...) ~ function with a lifetime parameter
